The Mini Laser is my current favourite. I got it after seeing it and hearing many great things about it on the EZone. This is the first laser cut kit that I've built and it really was a joy to assemble. It took about 3 evenings to put together and I actually enjoyed just about all of it!
The kit almost falls together and you can build quite large sections of it without needing to stop and glue. Once you're happy everything looks straight, you just drip CA glue into all the joins and that's it. I really wish I'd got some pictures of the building process but I only bought my digital camera after I'd finished the build
I took about 4 times longer to cover the Mini Laser that I took to build it. I'm not a big fan of covering and I can only do shifts of about an hour before getting annoyed and going off to find something else to do........
The Mini Laser flies!
And very well too. It's way more capable than I am at the moment but it's still great fun.
The first flights were cut short by the spinner leaving the plane mid-flight and the
prop freewheeling from that point until the landing (when it fell off). The nuts and spinner
from a litestick work fine on this gearbox and prop and enabled me to get quickly back
to flying.
I've flown it about 15 times and every time I try to invent more tricks to try :-)
AAAAARGH!!!

That'll teach me to try silly things so close to the ground. The damage isn't as bad as I initially thought.
The wing pannels are fine and the break between them is easily repairable. The fuselage
will need a little more work because all the stringers were snapped so I'll probably
have to slice new wood in there.
